Leaf Art
Today we have been using leaves from around the school grounds to create wonderful pieces of leaf art. The children have been incredibly creative during this lesson and have produced some brilliant pieces of work.

    Lovely, creative project work with the children using items found presumably within school grounds. Helping them to explore nature and think outside the box.

Oliver's Vegetables This half term we have been doing lots of work around Oliver's vegetables.  In this story Oliver doesn't like vegetables and refuses to eat anything else but chips! Oliver's grandpa has a wonderful garden with lots of new vegetables to try. In class we ate vegetables that were in grandpa's garden and more. We had to think of adjectives to describe the appearance, texture and taste. As you can see from Hugo's face, he did not enjoy the spinach! Keep checking back for more examples of our work.

Welcome to Year 2

Welcome to Year 2 This is our school week... Monday 'Times Tables Monday' From Year 2 children up to Year 6 will be practising their times tables.  ·         We have assembly in the morning with Mrs Clark. ·         We are given our new spellings to learn for Friday. Tuesday ·         Mrs Smith teaches Year 2 all afternoon. Wednesday ·         We have singing practice in the morning. ·         Year 2 have PE in the afternoon.
